& I love working with wood

I grew up around tools and woodworking. When I was 12 my dad changed careers and started building log cabins. I worked many summers and school vacations with him and had no idea at the time but this would lead to a passion as I got older. As an adult, I started doing projects around the house, mostly carpentry, until I started watching some people on Youtube doing woodworking. An ability with the tools didn't take long for me to adapt my carpentry skills to finer detailed woodworking, and while I certainly don't believe I'm an expert, I can now produce nice looking pieces for family and friends. I have a shop in part of our basement and while it's certainly not complete with the tools I want, it's enough that I get to make most anything Kelly or me can think up. This page will showcase some of the work I can do, and while I'm not looking to turn this into a profession, it's something that could happen some day. I mainly like to produce one of a kind pieces and work mostly with domestic or exotic hardwoods. I love taking interesting pieces of wood and making something beautiful.
